Design Overview

The Soil Moisture, Temperature, and EC Sensor is designed and developed in India to provide accurate measurements of key soil parameters. It is capable of measuring moisture, temperature, and electrical conductivity (EC) of the soil. The sensor is designed to work effectively on various types of soils, ensuring its versatility and applicability across different agricultural settings.

Two Separate Units

Display Unit

Equipped with an LCD display for easy visualization of data.

Working temperature range: -10 to 78 degrees Celsius, ensuring functionality in a wide range of environmental conditions.

Powered by a powerful Li-ion battery, offering extended usage without frequent recharging.

The battery can be conveniently charged in 2.5 to 3.5 hours using a regular mobile charger and a C-type cable.

Measuring Unit

Comes with three probes for measuring moisture, temperature, and EC.

Moisture sensor probes are constructed using anti-rust materials, ensuring durability and longevity even in corrosive soil conditions.

Temperature sensor is durable with a wide working temperature range of -10 to 110 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for extreme environmental conditions.

Functionality

Capable of measuring moisture up to a depth of 7 inches when inserted from the top of the soil surface, providing deeper insights into soil conditions.

Easy to handle and transport, allowing users to move the sensor from one location to another with ease.

Ideal for measuring soil moisture and EC at various points within the same plot of land, especially where soil types may vary significantly.

Each unit is properly calibrated on major soil types, enhancing reliability and accuracy of measurements across different soil compositions.

Packaging

The sensor is packaged in a sleek and handcrafted wooden box.

Advantages of wooden packaging

Environmental sustainability: Wooden boxes are biodegradable and have a lower environmental impact compared to plastic or metal boxes.

Aesthetic appeal: Handcrafted wooden packaging adds a premium and elegant touch to the product.

Protection: Wood provides adequate protection against external impacts, ensuring the safety of the sensor during transportation and storage.

The Soil Moisture, Temperature, and EC Sensor, named Galileo, offers precise measurements, durability, portability, and environmentally friendly packaging, making it an indispensable tool for agricultural professionals and researchers in India and beyond.
